April 2018: Quilts & Marketplace at Synod Assembly

Synod Assembly is coming up the first weekend in May at Cragun’s Resort near Brainerd. Quilters and artisans from all over our Synod will be sending their creations to be sold at the Quilt Sale & Marketplace to raise funds for the ELCA World Hunger and Disaster Relief programs. January 2018: Reporting your congregation’s World Hunger donations

September: Prepare for Offering of Letters

ELCA Domestic Hunger Funds Help VinE Tutor “Stuck” Students

ELCA Domestic Hunger Appeal will provide a grant of $2,000 dollars to help Volunteers In Education, (VinE), fight local poverty and save children’s academic lives in our synod. VinE is a new nonprofit organization created by two ELCA pastors, Charles Barnes and Art Dale, in the Northeastern Minnesota Synod to link public education with communities using volunteers who care about kids.
